Open Signal – Intro to Studio Production (Session 3 of 3)
Hands-on television production class covering cameras, lighting, audio, and control-room roles.
Who can participate
Ages 16 and up. Open Signal Producer status and prior Producer Orientation are required. Advance registration is required; maximum 10 participants.
Course schedule
Three required sessions: October 28, October 29 and November 4, 2026, 6:00–9:00 PM each. Register for the full course, not individual nights.
What you will learn
Work with studio lighting, cameras, microphones, mixers, technical direction, and team production. Completion and volunteering can lead to studio certification.
Cost and financial assistance
Sliding scale: $70 discounted / $135 suggested / $525 true cost for the full course. Ask education@opensignalpdx.org about a voucher.
