Coalition Partners

Community Connectors

Some of our most important partners are individuals. A parent, teacher, mentor, neighbor, or community organizer can open doors, share trusted information, connect families to opportunities, and help us understand what youth need. We believe one committed person can have an outsized impact. A parent connected to a school community, an educator who sees a gap, or a community member who knows where families gather can help create real access for young people.

Youth and Community Outreach Partners

Our youth and community partners help connect students, families, and community members to STEAM opportunities, makerspace programs, mentorship, and other resources.

These partners include organizations and individuals who are trusted in their communities. A school parent, teacher, mentor, neighbor, or community organizer can make a major difference by sharing information, opening doors, and helping families find opportunities that are relevant and accessible.

Through these relationships, NE STEAM Coalition is able to reach more youth, build trust with families, and design programs that reflect the real needs, interests, and strengths of the communities we serve.

Together, we are creating more ways for young people to explore STEAM, build confidence, discover their interests, and see themselves as makers, problem solvers, and future leaders.

Infrastructure Partners

Our infrastructure partners help make the work possible. They provide the space, tools, funding, technical support, training, equipment, and connections that allow STEAM learning to happen in real community settings.

These partners help us expand what youth and families can access — from makerspace equipment and learning materials to internships, media tools, workforce connections, and organizational support. Their contributions strengthen the foundation behind our programs and help us turn ideas into hands-on experiences.

Infrastructure can look like a building, a classroom, a camera, a grant, a professional connection, a fiscal tool, or a partner willing to open a door. Together, these supports help NE STEAM Coalition create more consistent pathways for BIPOC youth to explore STEAM, build skills, and connect to future opportunities.

STEAM Providers

Our STEAM education partners bring hands-on learning, curriculum, teaching experience, technical knowledge, and creative practice to the coalition.

These partners help youth explore science, technology, engineering, arts, math, design, media, climate justice, entrepreneurship, and emerging career pathways. They support programs that are practical, creative, culturally responsive, and connected to real opportunities.

Together, we create learning experiences that help young people build skills, ask questions, solve problems, and see themselves as makers, designers, scientists, artists, technologists, and future leaders.
